This bill permanently bans child care providers caught committing fraud from receiving federal child care funding or participating in the federal child care food program. It also requires the federal government to investigate fraud in these programs. If this passes, any child care provider found guilty of fraud through a court or official review process would lose access to government child care dollars forever, with no path to get them back.
